KORKULA

KORNATI

This archipelago with its sometimes lunar landscape is a true paradise for sailors, divers, snorkelers and lovers of more naturalistic scenery.

The name derives from the sheer cliffs above the sea, some of them of impressive heights that are called crowns, widespread especially in the Lower Kornati. These islands of karst origin, are almost all uninhabited and devoid of hotel facilities therefore suitable for those seeking peace, beautiful sea and a complete detachment from everyday life.

Worth seeing are the cliffs overhanging the sea in the Donji Kornati part and those on Klobucar Island. A true paradise is Hiljada Bay, with the sea always flat, sail to Zut, the yellow island. Kornat is the largest island in the archipelago here you can enjoy a spaghetti in the trattoria at the water's edge. Other beaches not to be missed are Lojena (island of Levrnaka), bay of Veli Rati and beaches of the island Molat
